Have you ever, tell someone about A and you thought she understood, and she thought she understood, and in the end both of you are actually talking about 2 different things?

 

When people describe something to you, you thought you got the idea, you guessed of something, only to know that the item is not what you imagined it to be.

 

 

 

It is a remake of the korean movie Il Mare, coming on end July.

 

Looking at the movie title, alamak the korean version sounds better.

 

Looking at the house, hai ya the scenery and house in the korean version is more beautiful (and dreamy).

 

Looking at the lead actors, hmm i think the korean ones fit the story better.

 

Oops i have yet to watch the remake but i am giving such comments. well... i have watched il mare at least 3 times. But i most prob will give this remake a chance, after all it is sandra bullock - i like her in "While you were sleeping". hope the actors have the chemistry else the love story will fail badly

 

 

i do not watch soccer, not even if it is world cup. so what if it is once every 4 years and everyone is talking about it. i m not affected. i do not have to sacrifice beauty sleep and become a walking zombie during office hours. i do not bet on world cup too (fyi i m not against gambling if the amount is small / if the gamblers can afford the money)

 

today i just heard someone saying, "world cup harms people". the people were referring to those who gambled and lost badly

 

do u find them pathetic or do u pity the one who lends the money?

 

i pity the latter.

 

those gamblers made their choice. they want to gamble and they sank into it deeper than they think they can handled/afford it. no one else can help them except themselves

 

if the person lending the money to a gambler, that was his choice too. but what if he did not know the borrower is a gambler?

 

last but not least, for those who gambled and own people lots of money, the last thing they should do is to run away. this is very cowardly. what happened to their family and people they own money?

 

world cup, is it just a game of soccer?

Was waiting for bus home at the bus stop outside hougang CC when a woman suddenly stood in front of me. i din know she was looking at me, i was waiting for my bus. Then she suddenly spill bubble tea on me!

 

stupid idiotic crazy insane bian tai!!

 

After spilling on me, she purposely said 'sorry' and walked calmly to the corner of the bus stop, acting as if nothing had happened. (She crushed her cup of bubble tea in my direction, it was definitely not an accident)

 

Come to think of it, i did noticed her gazing at me a few minutes before she 'approached' me. But i thought she was looking at other people.

 

Morale of the story, better be careful where you are looking at when waiting for bus etc and walk away when someone walked near to you - other than this, i dunno what else i can learn from this stupid incident

 

sigh i had wanted to leave for home earlier, if i had done so, i wont meet this lunatic!

 

oh and i forgot to take a photo of her. at least i know (from her reaction) if she is lunatic or not? oh well, does it matter? sigh
